Welcome to the home page of the Xcyt project.

Xcyt is a computer program that provides automated diagnosis and prognosis of breast cancer, based on cytological or histological images. This site provides information and history on the project, and allows you to test the software on some sample images.

Xcyt requires:

Netscape version 4.5 or higher

Java Plug-in

The current version of the Xcyt system was developed and is currently being maintained by Prof. Nick Street and Ms. Kyoung-Mi Lee of the University of Iowa. Questions regarding the software or the research project should be directed to nick-street@uiowa.edu.
